FFS not this bollocks again.

I saw figure’s recently and Celtics net spend over the last few seasons is £18 million profit. In the same time frame Rangers have spent £3 million but will go into profit when Sakala and Kamara leave

Of course they would struggle against clubs who spend tens of millions year after year after year. Of course if they were playing in the EPL they would then be given the resources to compete and Celtic in particular have the backing of extremely wealthy individuals.

Nonsense argument anyway as it won’t happen. Why would English clubs give up two places in their top division? TBH I don’t want it to happen. I’d much rather work at improving competition in our own domestic league

It will never happen, you’re right. However if we had access to it and the money that goes along with it, coupled to our supports who dwarf 90% of your teams, we both would be fixtures. It’s like me saying City woukd win the CL or even the fucking Prem in the 80’s and 90’s. How did you manage that? Did you find Aladdin’s Lamp? No, you got investment. It would be the same with us. There are loads of reasons we will never be invited. To be honest our worst travel and we would both be shown up, so I would prefer we didn’t. It is also a fact that teams who would normally take the two places would veto it in self interest as once we got there, we are there to go ahead, not survive. Surviving isn’t good enough for either of us. We both have delusions of grandeur and with a lot of money would demand we challenge. We would. Your diddy clubs are just happy to be there, because they are diddy clubs . We also live in the most beautiful country in the UK, so players would come if we could pay them more and be in the Prem.

There is more chance Trump stops being an absolute fucking **** than it happening. That’s just a fact and I am ok with it.

I don’t bet on football, certainly not against my team, but they are good odds, although I have never watched them, they must be ok to hand Ghent their arse.
 
Servette beat Genk in Belgium and I’m sure they were down to ten men for quite a long period of the game.

Nothing is a certainty but those odds are unbelievably generous. I won’t be taking it but thought I’d pass it on so others can think about it

Rangers are a laughable 2/1 on FFS!!
 
I never understand people who tweet out declarations like this. The number that come back to make you look like a fanny are legion. :)

The little I saw of the Celtic game they looked pretty poor but we’ve all seen Rangers preseason. I m not really bothered regarding results in friendlies as long as you see some promise from individuals and the team. I’ve seen nothing to be positive about

We were for most of the play. Had loads of possession but just didn’t click. It did for the goals snd the chances that should have been goals. The rest was slow and pish to watch.

I find this Cantwell as a game changer fascinating. Nothing special at Norwich or Bournemouth so what has he done up here for that accolade.

Nothing. He’s ok. That’s it. But, he plays for Rangers. I think the press want to help with his sell on fee by pretending he’s fucking Pirlo. £40m Morelos £30m Kent. That kinda vide.

If he was half as good as he thinks he is he would be world class. Alas…..

Funny you mention £40 million because….

ASTON VILLA will have to pay Norwich a massive £40million to replace Jack Grealish with Todd Cantwell. England midfielder Grealish is on the verge of a £100m move to Manchester City and Villa have identified Cantwell as a potential replacement.

Last summer, Leeds reportedly tabled a £15 million bid for Cantwell only for Norwich to reject it, which resulted in Marcelo Bielsa turning his attentions to Raphinha.

I think we were getting him on a pre contract but paid a fee to get him early… and of course then Beale doesn’t play him or Raskin in the game against Celtic
 
Actually very nervous of a real embarrassing result tonight. Bookies have us in as big favourites. I just cannot see it

He simply cannot afford not to play Cantwell in the more advanced midfield role!!
