Rangnick quits consultancy role (Pg 89)

At the expense of being called a heretic, I really think ralf has knocked a bit of shape into the rags, the good news is their self entitled fans don't. The rag masses believe all the bullshit the media feed them. Not winning the Prem year in year out, to them is failure. Well I certainly am not going to burst that bubble. Unrest is the order of the day.

I only found out during the post-match analysis yesterday he came on a contract to move upstairs next season?

That makes this whole situation even more baffling for me, who is making these sorts of decisions?

I can't see how he can move into a director of football role with any sort of credibility and authority now, after how it's panned out for him as manager this season?

Long may this mess continue
He wont be the Director of Football, they already have one.
He will be an advisor.
But, which ever manager they get, will he want a DOF, an advisor, Woodwards replacement and the gpc all telling him what he should do..

It's brilliant, it really is.

As long as this old fool keeps breathing all is good.

He still has a huge say at that club, but why he does is simply beyond me.

Again what was the old fool doing watching from the front row of the directors box?

He is Busby MkII, they should look to history and the cost and the length of time it took to get back to winning ways.

We don't need Wreck it Ralf. Man Utd fans have destroyed their own.

Look what happened to Arsenal. Now the same thing at Man Utd. Maguire and Rashford were overrated but how does Rashford go from a player with 20 goals a season with a bust shoulder to less than double figures in one season? Maguire was half decent. Now look at him.

We did the same to our own in the 1990s so we know how it works. Very difficult to get out of.

Who is next? Rangnick? Ronaldo?

I heard the drunken fool didn't want to go to Sundays Derby but City insisted :-)

I thought that was “Fletch”’s role

I’m confused now. Is he the interim technical director? But then why is he sat in the bench?

Good point. PL rules say you are allowed on the bench - subs, manager, assistant manager & medical team. Which of these does Fletch fall into???
