Raphael Guerreiro

It's not a mistake, he's just not ready yet, but will go out on loan or with a buyback and if he develops he'll come back.

We needed him this season, so he got brought in early, but 23 games for Man City going for a treble coming from Anderlecht is a great season for any 21 year old kid, let alone someone trying to change position.

People just see to have had ridiculous expectations of him being the finished article from day 1.

Agree with everything you say. Just note that it is 'games' and not 'starts', and vice versa to suit the argument. Everyone does it I guess.

Not even close, loads of room.

But could be curtains for Gomez regardless.
you might wanna check that as it stands with Kova in and Gvardiol for Laporte we have them all spoken for. Loads of room in PL reg though. (I am expecting Perrone & Palmer to go out etc but not counted them till confirmed)

If the rumours are correct that Sergio Gomez is going to Burnley I wish him the best of luck in the future. And puts £20 in the kitty. Hopefully
A great bit of business if true. £20m is a decent price given minutes he has played. Think there is a decent attacking player there but not a defender.

We were constrained by this for a long time but we've been fine for the last few years. Can't see it being an issue this summer.

I count 15 including Gomez and 3 keepers.

Yep, 15 out of 17, including as you say Gomez and extra HG. Before any departures. As it stands 2 new players can be added without affecting anything.

A list (16/17) - Ederson, Ortega, Dias, Akanji, Laporte, Gomez, Rodri, Bernardo, Gundogan, KDB, Mahrez, Alvarez, Haaland, Perrone, Philips, Grealish.

Club Associated (4/4) - Foden, & 3 spaces
National Associated (4/4) - Carson, Ake Stones, Walker

We had one space available this season as far as i can see.

I hadn't included Perrone. Not as an assumption, just as he hasn't really featured so I forgot we added him in January. Possibly one that could go on loan, but you are right, as it stands.

Wouldnt Perone be on the b-list as he's under 21 or does that not exist anymore

Not for the CL, he needs to have been at the club for 2 years to count as u21/
B-list. Otherwise he takes up a slot.

I did not count Perrone to get my 15.

Having 2 spots is a great position to be in. For years we had zero and even 1 senior player too many.

He deseverd to end his amazing 7 year stay at Dortmund with that Bundesliga title so unlucky and dumb how they bottled that.
