Yes forgot about him but in general the dutch lads have been very good in the prem, my point being all the players that failed after coming from the dutch league were foreigners and not dutch nationals.

Very fair point fixer. I think Suarez is a good player, but 23m is overpriced... that's City-tax type fee.

Big gamble on there part given they are not CL club this year or next.

Depressingly this is a very good signing, I watch a lot of the Eredivise and I think Suarez is more than capable of being a good premiership striker.

He and Dzeko are the most promising strikers in Europe atm.

I disagree. The standard of the dutch league is on a par with the likes of Scotland. It's wank.
Tried telling a few on here about Huntelaar being overated when he was at Ajax, but none would listen. Where is he now? Thats right, bottom half of the
Bundesliga.

The Dutch league isn't great, but it's better than Scotland. Anyway, Suarez has been consistently good at international level, don't forget he's not a number 9 like Torres.
