There was talk in January that Viana was a big fan. He wasn't rumored then for the Winter window but for the end of the season.

Before that a few years back there was talk City liked him and was interested.

It seems like the existing heirarchy + Viana are all fans, he's a very logical fit/target for us. I think there's more pointing to this getting done than not
 
Aside from the initial links, there’s been nothing.

Though I presume that we’ve been working on Cherki and Reijnders all week instead.

And I think it’s a good sign that the link came from Romano who has had some exclusives in January and this Summer (Khusanov, Reis, Nico, Cherki, Ljinders) so hopefully another one with Ait-Nouri.

With one RAYAN in the bag the other one has gone quiet - i believe we are saving this Private rayan for next week....

Brilliant, loads of energy and he's so talented technically and that's what we need to get back to.

Not the best defensively but we hopefully won't be off the ball much next season.
 
Yeah our left will stay exposed . Hopefully no one here expects an defensive monster
