I'm trying to remember - will we have FA Cup weekends off now or will be play PL fixtures rearranged if the opposition is out of the cup now?

It'll be good if an FA Cup weekend falls after a Europe League match for us.

I think 3rd & 4th round are the only weekends reserved for FA Cup

I think 5th round is a free weekend too on 18th Feb - right between the 2 Porto games.

Don't speak to soon, Now I assume your not in the higher echelons of the club, if what you were saying is true, why would the club bother to appeal? To save face?

The simple answer is we don't know if it will be rescinded or not, the club think they have a case and that's good enough for me

This 100 times ... Read carefully to any pessimistic folks out there, this is what a "supporter" is.

I didn't even realise that being a City supporter meant that I had to have 100% faith in absolutely everything that happens at the club so I certainly didn't realise that it meant I had to have blind faith in the FA disciplinary process. You learn something new every day.

Ha Ha .. Indeed! I was not trying to get at anyone, just wanted to stay optimistic for a good result on Wednesday. I love all my fellow Blue brothers and sisters on here !!

I know football's emotive but we're a sensible organisation; we must have done our home work before making this appeal.

An organisation like ours must have individuals who can look at this objectively and then make a decision accordingly. That's why I think we must stand a very, very good chance of being successful.

Just watched the reply again:Wellbeck's even more annoying than Anderson. He's nodding his head and agreeing with the decision but you can tell he hasn't got a clue what's going on. I've listened to his post match interviews and his infant diction and distracted thoughts are similar to Rooney's

But would city be so foolish to appeal it if they knew the ref wasnt on side.

If the ref says he made a mistake after reviewing it in his changing room then we are onto a winner.

If the ref says he wouldn't of changed his decision based on reviewing it again then we would have no chance.

It appears the ref may accept he got it wrong.

That's what he will have meant, if Foy had decided he was wrong he would have said so in his match report and there would be no need to appeal.
