All of EL3 is now open.

I just called and moved my tickets back there from where I had booked. They even refunded me the difference as I was in a £25 seat.

Ticketline put me straight through to customer services who took about 5 mins to answer the call.

How can this be?

City are the devil. I know, people on here kept telling me.

Complete and utter farce, how difficult is it for them to grasp the concept of customer choice - letting people decide where they want to sit instead of trying to railroad them into an area they don't want to be in.

EDIT: That's two lots of admin effort, one to relocate out of L3 and one to relocate back in. Time that could have been spent selling more tickets.

Isn't that what they just did for him.

They let him move back and refunded the difference.

So why waste all that time relocating back and forth, why not just let people choose their normal seat in the first place??

booked x3 tickets on - line at £25 each
appears level 3 now open at £17.50 each
it would appear i'm £22.50 down as i have no great preference between the 2 areas.what have city done that is good for me other than mess me about?

am i able to swap?
can i swap on-line? ( my hunch would be no)
if i ring up will they then want to charge me booking fee on each tx for their fannyin around?

the whole thing smacks of moving football away from 3pm ko.
people generally like to know where they stand and as soon as you start messing about they tend to vote with their feet! rant over and out!

Have you read my post?

If you a season ticket hold in EL3 they will relocate you back FREE OF CHARGE and refund a difference.

If you arent a season ticket holder in EL3 then, as it should be, its hard cheese. You chose your seats.

The club made a mistake by closing it but they've rectified it and are allowing it to become a sell out.

Any chance we'll fill one of the third tiers? I expect a few Reading fans will go in our ends, somrthing I've no problem with as long as they behave themselves after going three down!!

Can't believe all the fuss about a not open / open the 3rd tier.

Everyone moans when there are empty seats around them, lack of atmosphere etc. The club say ok we wont open the 3rd tiers for cup games to get you all together and you can have a sing song. Club projected the demand for tickets wrong - so open the 3rd tier. Que moaners in melt down.

Grab a seat - sing your heart out because there is a huge chance that 90 mins after KO on Sunday we will be on our way to that over priced stadium in London.

Happy days!

Got to give the club credit for the way they have handled this. The only problem here for me are the stay away fans that have led the club to have to take this sort of action. Of course we should sell the bottom tiers first, it makes complete sense and improves the atmosphere, giving us a better chance of progressing. I am on level 2 meaning Im paying £25, which in my opinion is still good value for a cup quarter final, and no I dont have loads of spare money, I'm pretty much skint already this month and only got paid 10 days ago. Well done City.

problem being i was only given a restricted choice and they wanted to charge me top dollar for their benefit not mine!
