Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

There last two visits to the Etihad have been unbelievable cauldrons of noise. Indeed, last season's QF against Real was a complete and utter bear pit and they physically shrank on the pitch as we dominated the game and the fans got behind City.
Need it like that x 10. No complacency from us. This meeja narrative is spreading and will harm us as an attractive club to play for.

I really enjoyed the game in Madrid. The whole experience is one I won't forget. This time it was different with the ground completed, more City fans there, the roof closed, the Real fans being orchestrated, etc.
One thing I haven't noticed before though was the Stadium Announcer. He was incredible reading out the names of the Real players, so loud and so pronounced. Same when they scored a goal. Not saying at City we want to copy Real but having an announcer who has that kind of booming voice would make a difference and absolutely bring the fear factor up a notch.

Agree with most of what you say pal, but I thought the announcer was cheesy as fuck

So Madrid poisoned Kevin.

"Kevin De Bruyne was taken ill ahead of City's Champions League thriller with Real Madrid in the Spanish capital this week. The Belgium midfielder went down with sickness and vomiting in the dressing room - and was forced to miss the 3-3 draw in the Bernabeu.

De Bruyne believes it was something he ate in the team hotel a few hours ahead of kick off. And City were worried he wouldn't be the only member of the squad to be struck down."

Don't we take our own chefs away with us?

I mean it's the Daily star ffs.

Witnessed one City fan being refused onto the plane at Malaga Airport yesterday afternoon.

Not sure of the exact reason, but the fact that he could hardly stand up was possibly a clue.
Saw one lad being refused onto the 11:35 pm out of Palma to Madrid. Last flight of the night and if there were any flights early Tuesday they looked expensive as fuck, poor lad
