Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Also, you can't take one game in isolation but that Bellingham **** is a wrongun
It feels like all the hype (and some of it is deserved) has gone to his head and he has embraced the old Galacticos Cunthood, even though he’s only 15 yrs old!!!

Sliding in everywhere, moaning and gesticulating every time the slightest thing didn’t go his way, and constantly playing to the crowd. He looks like he’s found his Spanish home!

Sadly, potentially great player that has significant upside, but any possible PL future has Rag or Dipper written all over it!

As 20, he’s definitely got the world by the balls, but on tonight’s performance, he looks like he has seriously bought into his own hype.

Epic disaster for us.

Bellingham - Adulation has gone into his head.
Vini Jr - Head hasnt been in the game for some time.
Lunin - For a guy who previously threatened to leave in order to become no.1, he sure is casual with his game-play. Literally losing the best ever opportunity to become our no.1
Ancelotti - The diamond formation has never convinced me. Joselu must start from now on - both in la liga and CL. An average but hard working striker in a 4-3-3 that gives reference to the wingers and keeps CBs occupied is better than a no striker formation.
Team overall - How can a team that hasn't played for 9 days lose intensity faster than a team thats played 3 games in 10 days?

Congrats to City for entering the Semi-finals.
I’m not sure any City fan is falling for that last line, because we’ve been in this type of position and blown it against worst teams. That said, Bellingham really has embraced the cult of his own greatness and turned into a very unlikeable ****!

Thought the ref was good. Shows what unbiased refs can do (take note PiGMOL).
Refs need to have just 3 statements they make during a game:

1) Get up.
2) Go away or you’re getting a yellow card.
3) That’s your last chance.

Liked this French fella. No nonsense early when he needed let the players know clattering challenges would be carded, then didn’t fall for the bullshit from all the flailing and flopping, letting the players play.

It not only made for a better, more flowing game, but it stopped the myriad “magic sponge” trips onto the field that cause the 7-10 minutes of injury/wasted time.

Compare & contrast Bellingham for RM v England, he’s been fully indoctrinated into the RM way, the dark arts, the arrogance & the entitlement.
Should’ve been sent off, dissent on numerous occasions could’ve done it on its own, diving, & the retaliatory challenge on Dias, where he went in with an elbow to the back of his head.
All the talk about how great he’s been this season with 20 goals, Foden is now on 22 with that rocket into the top corner

Crazy game. Good result. Kinda lucky because we only played 30 minutes (0-10 min 1st half; 55-75 min in the 2nd) good/normal football but we also could have won the game. After the Josko Banger the heads of the Real players were down & we didn`t used the momentum. Perhaps fresh legs would have helped but no subs were made.

Pity away goals don‘t count double any more. A mixed bag, but a decent result. Confident of a home win.
