Old enough to know throwing away a CL semi would be stupid it doesn't get much bigger than this
City are a bigger club than you think we are. We don’t decide to toss off the CL just because the league is tight. We go for both.
We've got a Squad capable of winning both we don't have too chose both are important as each other
Whether you want it or not, the game on Wednesday will have the world watching, much more than Liverpool’s on Tuesday. It is the face of our club on the biggest stage possible. Beating Real Madrid there and winning a final against Liverpool would be epic. If we win the league and lose the final to Liverpool, it will leave a bitter taste on the mouth (as would for them in the opposite scenario). This game is as big as it gets for everyone involved. And frankly, the referee picked for this game is much better than probably all referees we had in the PL this year. Certainly there won’t be any “one step closer” tweet…I'd be considerably more disappointed if we don't win the PL this year.
The CL is a fraud of a competition created to line the pockets of TV companies and corrupt football administrators.
Winning the CL only makes a club 'bigger' in the eyes of the unscrupulous media.
It was a far more credible competition when Villa and Forest won it.
I think the PL does show More on who's the better side I agree but winning the CL would also of course be massive and we would hurt are rival's more than anything else if we won thatWinning the PL proves that you were the best in the country over a full season.
Winning the CL shows that you can win a competition created by a corrupt organisation aimed at giving 8 to 10 wealthy clubs a very favourable passage to a knockout tournament.
The FA Cup is a better competition
If we win the PL by a point or on goal difference, we should certainly celebrate, but it hardly proves we are the best. We just happened to have won, as would be the case for them.Winning the PL proves that you were the best in the country over a full season.
We're good, but not good enough to beat them without 11Ederson
Dias
Laporte
Zinchenko
Rodri
Bernardo
KDB
Foden
Jesus
Mahrez
Team picks itself imo, harsh on Raheem but can’t drop Jesus with the form he’s in
