He took a gamble with the subs, partifularly Rodri who didn't look tired to me. He is our steel, our most important defensive player now. Pep thought the game was won and he could afford to take him off. I can see why he did it but it backfired. With hindsight it would have been better if we hadn't scored when we did as he'd have probably left him and Mahrez on..Another big game,another we lose when we should have won.
This team is brilliant but we have a soft centre,and until we conquer that lack of Steel and lose our debilitating naivity,we will continue to be the bridesmaids.
We are our own worst enemy,the masters of self destruction.We need to address that,and maybe that starts with the boss.
