Jared Bowen...im thinking that type of buy from Hull..inspired...he genuinely is very talented and gives it more than is all. I think as we have pep..who improves players..we should take advantage..get a good domestic scouting team up and running. We have thousands of well 'schooled' lads in this country now as most players across all leagues have been at acadamies for years..so technically should have the fundamentals...players develop at different stages. Just need to find those that are on the upward curve again..Just to add to this, we have a management team that should be able to improve players. We don’t have to have the finished article. As for the question of motivation: We have a team of top class players and all of them needed a degree of self-motivation to get to the top of their games. Whatever Pep did or didn't say, they should have been sufficiently motivated in the final few minutes to see out the game. They shouldn't have needed an "on-pitch leader" to keep their heads together, not taking chances and not giving the ball away cheaply should have been obvious to each and every one of them.
