if any of those get a yellow you can bet we'll get a straight red
These European refs are very quick to get the cards out. Real have more players on a knife edge for the second leg and sub consciously they may back off a little than they normally would.

How damning of our summer business is it that none of our signings are expected to start tonight. Only Gvardiol potentially, but probably wouldn't be if Ake was fit.

Kovacic and Doku you can understand due to their respective age profiles but Nunes...baffling how little he is trusted. Didn't even get into a rotated side for Palace.
You’re full of joy aren’t you? There is nothing wrong with our summer business.

Baffling that some city fans still don’t get that it takes some players at least 12 month to get used to pep’s tactics and style of play

There's definitely been glimpses with Nunes but he just needs to learn how to control the rhythm a bit more. It looks at times like he's forcing it

the ref will be well aware whose walking a tightrope and do his best not book any of em which could furstrate our lads if he keeps letting fouls go

Can't be any worse than Arsenal a couple of weeks ago, the players handled that pretty well. European refs much more likely to book our players for complaining though.
