Real Madrid away

Let me guess.

Hitch hike to Bristol Airport
Flight to Dublin
Ferry to Belfast
Flight to Stornaway
Trawler to Iceland
Hot Air Balloon to Gdansk
Bus to Beijing
Camel to Abh Dhabi
Microlight to Istanbul

£43.50 all in flights
£3 Hostels for 29 nights
75 £5 blow jobs for beer

Job done.
I hate it when people post my secret itinerary

Do me a favour.

In fact if you read again what I put, about personally I say fair play, you wouldn't have needed to react like you have, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
You also ended your response with 'I'm a show off as well' which would insinuate that I was showing off with my response when in fact it was a simple case of replying to a post that you posted.

I will remember going forward that you don't require a reply to your posts though as this has turned into a very strange situation after giving an answer to you post from my perspective.

Enjoy your upcoming holidays blue.

Thanks mate.....and I'm sorry

I've always juggled my time around City games, but not to the extent some do,I won't go away on holiday when we are at home,as I've a season ticket and don't like missing, and try to go away during international breaks in the football calender, summer doesn't matter, but being as I don't go to many aways these days,I work it around that, like FA Cup 3rd and 4th round times as well.

My initial question was a tongue in cheek one,but to be fair I did expect a couple of responses I've had, albeit nobody needs to explain to me,like I say it was a joking type of question, but it does amaze me when you see pics on Sky like in Munich other week, and the age of some of these lads, and I'm thinking A) how can they afford a 3 day trip with ticket to Munich and B) how do they get time off work, but it appears some just work their "entitlement" on following City instead of having a summer beach holiday somewhere.unless you are in a very fortunate position of being able to do it all !

For me these days, I need a bit of comfort. And it can be pricy. Especially flights since Covid seem to have gone through the roof.

But for the young ‘uns, it’s still possible to do most trips on a budget. They’ll book a few beds in a hostel and all pile in for just a few quid a night. Fly to somewhere cheap a few hours away and get a train or bus. Even use the trains the whole way.

I was chatting to a bunch of kids who I know from round my way at one game and they’d done all three group games, Seville, Dortmund and Copenhagen on some sort of young persons European inter rail ticket, that lasted I think they said three months and gave them unlimited travel all round Europe. Can’t remember the exact price. They did tell me. But it was like the cost of one normal return air journey.

Even myself in my much younger days. I’ve done full World Cups without booking any accommodation. Just jump on an overnight train here and there and get a kip on it. Keep your ear out for people with hotels and bunk down on their floor. Check into some shithole hostel for a night or two.

It can be done on a pretty small budget. But it’s certainly a young man’s game.

Went to pick mine up today from ground was easy, I was in the queue behind a member of the Swedish blues picking up their allocation.

Nice to see city making sure all fans are looked after…

Tbf some of them lads have been going for years, they’ve sat near me a couple of times
Unlike the crew from Bulgaia iirc that Kevin Parker sorted with Porto tickets…

A guy who sits in front of me is from Norway, has a ST and goes to more matches than me.
i am going to Madrid but he can’t for other reasons. But he is above me in points and I wouldn’t have an issue with him going to Madrid (I have seen him at away CL group matches).
