Of the four times we've played Madrid in the CL- I left Tuesday being the most impressed by them of any of those years. How much of that is down to not being able to put a stranglehold on games as we have in years past- I'm not sure. Though I don't think there's much in terms of talent separating these two sides.

Let's return the favor of that dagger they put in between our shoulder blades last year.
 
A weekend we were nervous about. One Arteta and Arsenal were hoping would give them another bite at the title. Instead we win, they lose, title in our grasp.

What a huge boost for the squad. Fuck tiredness. They will be absolutely buzzing now. We don't need to worry about Chelsea, we have 3 games to get 2pts.

It is all about Wednesday. We have to get absolutely stuck into them from the off. Give them hell. Show them why we are the best team in the world. They are on our turf, it is time to bury them and end their dominance in the CL and go win it ourselves.
 
What a week this could be, beat Madrid and win against Chelsea to secure the title. No doubt the Etihad will be rocking on Wednesday, time to raise the roof and and make the Etihad a real bear pit.

nothing needs to be said, same team that earned the draw from the first leg,the players will be buzzing to win this, Bring the noise and we will see them to the final,,,,,,, 3-1 city
 
Very difficult game against Ancelotti who will defend deep and try to hit us on counters. The lineup will be the same as the first match unless pep wants to surprise Real. I did like foden on the left today. We have to score early and put pressure on them.

I think Riyad is better RW than Bernardo

& I think Bernardo in the middle will give us more control and creativity.

I know its crime benching Stones, but we can't bench Bernardo.

I can guarantee we've had tougher training sessions than today.

Some players need to play games to stay match fit, some players need a rest now and then, it's not linear with each player.

We will not be remotely 'tired' on Wednesday night. Last Wednesday aside, we've not broke sweat since the Bayern away game, even Arsenal at home was light work in the end.

3 defenders against Vinicius Jr (and Benzema and maybe Rodrygo not to mention) seems like borderline insanity but I do very much like the look of that midfield
