Real Madrid Vs Manchester City Post Match Thread

would have liked to see Mario in the lone striker role with tevez behind alongside silva. think Mario would have relished in the limelight. then again would probably have been sent off.
I have faith in bobby forza mancini

Fact is though, it is done. We can't change it now.
All we can do is be resolved to learn from it and prepare for the next game.

Here's a thought; if you want to be the best in Europe then you need to defend a lead.
It ain't rocket science.
Exactly. No team has ever lost the lead when leading. It's in the record books and everyfin.

Sarcasm reigns.

Hart had it right tonight. Pity that some don't think the same.
Everyone who is connected to City will be gutted by the result but supporters will find many positives in the performance. Aspects of the game which provide us with hope and a determination to put it right

Zaba should have started imo. Save Maicon for the lesser teams that he can tear apart. We need a proper defender at right back tonight. Still not too fussed, thought the boys did well. % gaes now to get 10 points, bring it on.

We need Micah back.
Really?

Just watched the 3rd Real goal again and I reckon Vince was scared of getting a touch on it and deflecting it past Joe and thought that it was heading towards central goal and therefore saveable, which it was except for Joe thinking Vince was going to block it, plus the dip on the ball.

One of those things.

Bastards.

Another rare moment of realism amongst a sea of BM idiocy.

Not happy with what I heard Bob just say

"I agree but I think Joe Hart should do his job, I can criticize the team, not Joe Hart"

pretty disrespectful, by and large Joe did his job and he's entitled to be pissed off. He was as harsh on himself as he was with anyone else, disappointed by Bob tonight, no need for that.

Not trying to disrespect bobby but i think he FAILED to do his job not Joe . Joe saved us from an embarrassing score line (Twice from Ronaldo , Higuain and then Ozil's late chance) . Why did he play Maicon ? A player who can only be compared to a slug and why on earth didn't he scream at the players to go back with just 8minutes to go ? This isn't the time for blame games and i am really disappointed at bobby for blaming Joe

He reacted to a question. A sly question from a sky journo.

BTW you aint fooling anybody.

The Aguero quotes are real BTW, the club should have a word with him. Really disappointed in him saying that now of all times.

What did he say??

We lost the plot in every department and even when we were in a position to win we still couldn't hold out!!!!!!

Hart, Yaya and Tevez were better than any of their players.....the rest of City were second best!!!

Kompany flat footed, Zaba too much space?

City are 10 years off the class of these teams!!
