It's all chicken and egg. We need to progress into the knockout stages to increase our ranking but we keep getting groups of death which make that hard.

We could have drawn AC Milan from Pot 1, they are utterly atrocious this season so far and playing more like a Pot 4 team.

We also could have drawn Porto who we beat comfortably in the Europa League last season.

We've just been very, very unlucky with our draws so far. We do need to get into Pot 1 though.
