A few chants of 'Hughsey, Hughsey' a lot of clapping, a polite wave back from him and then that'll be it.
He didn't do anything wrong whilst he was here. He went very quietly and barely said a word about it to the press. Many lesser men would have been slagging the club off left, right and centre after having their pride dented in such a way. He has my respect for the way he handled the whole situation.
I wonder how he'll feel about meeting Manchin though. He was the guy who, allegedly, was being lined up behind Hughes's back. It'd be nice to think that they have a drink together after the game.
