Is that almost 50 % of the supposed "squad" either completely out of contract or due to be subjected to the "sign or else" clause - I would be erring towards the "or else" but given their players history who knows? Certainly we should pull all players from the Rooney show and refuse to release any players in future if the game is not purely for manager selection purposes.

What is really being said is that pep has bought players who truely want to be sucessful and jose has just offered them money to sit on a bench and count their money and they can play in their truely meaningful fixtures this sesson - Huddersfield, Cardiff and Newcastle
