I was out with work last night. A rag who I generally avoid was desperate to tell me how he was ecstatic City had won their case and would get the Etihad sponsorship ratified. Because it meant Utd, as “the biggest club in the world” would now be doing deals for multi billions. I pointed out that at the moment they hand back 50% of their sponsorships in penalty clauses because of repeated failure to make the Champs League.
