I was out with work last night. A rag who I generally avoid was desperate to tell me how he was ecstatic City had won their case and would get the Etihad sponsorship ratified. Because it meant Utd, as “the biggest club in the world” would now be doing deals for multi billions. I pointed out that at the moment they hand back 50% of their sponsorships in penalty clauses because of repeated failure to make the Champs League. Then I just thought why am I talking to this wanker, and told him to fuck off.

Also, Their Debt just keeps growing with nobody ever mentions it like it's small and manageable

They've got to refinance it in the next couple of years though, and they'll probably be paying significantly more.

This is what I don’t get, why do they still have that influence? Why aren’t the hangers on tagging onto us, given what we’ve won over the last ten years or so?

Still haven’t got a training kit sponsor since £25m py, Tezos dropped out in July.
Melitta longterm sponsorship also ended this summer.

It surely can’t be long before Qualcomm’s marketing head/team is replaced. A la Chevrolet
