Red Card for Glen Johnson?!?!?!

Why was he arguing with Gerrard down the tunnel?

Don't know. Maybe Gerrard didn't take kindly to Mancini mentioning it at all (didn't bother him Agger and Skrtl and Adam trying to get Balotelli sent off) and said so.

Don't really care why he was arguing with Gerrard when it comes down to it. Simple fact, you can't get someone sent off by commenting on a decision after the match.

when i saw it live thought it was a straight red and now watched it on video how the fu*k did johnson get away with that ???
also dont think manchini wanted johnson sent off think he just wanted the fa to know how fuckin ridiculous/bent a decision was made on VK
rules for us rules for the original top 4 !
keep calm , trust manchini

Rooney actively tried to get an opponent sent off during the first 15 mins of a cup tie. Mancini asked what the difference between the two tackles was.

So he hasn't been a hypocrite at all.

Why was he arguing with Gerrard down the tunnel?
What's that got to with it - for goodness' sake?

The game was over - completely different from the situation with Rooney over Kompany!

So what ultimately did Mancini want to happen?

He wanted a red card for Johnson because of the challenge.

When it happened to his own player he said it didnt warrant a red card.

He couldn't have got a proper red card for Johnson because the game was over.

And it's quite clear that all he didn't want a red card for Johnson. All he wanted was for someone to explain why Kompany got a red card - upheld despite an appeal - and Johnson didn't.

He wants consistency from the officials.

It was all to do with Kompany, very little to do with Johnson.

And if Liverpool or any of their supporters wants to get pissy about it.

We would also like to know when the FA intend to charge Patrice Evra with making abusive remarks to an opponent after he admitted himself in his evidence to insulting Luis Suarez in Spanish in the most objectionable of terms.

Jesus, have a word with yourself. I can only assume what Mancini wanted is for the same treatment for his players as for those in other teams.
Outrageous eh?

So like you he wants it both ways.

We, including the manager, need to be concentrating on getting our own house in order after another lamentable performance. Don't look for scapegoats..............................
