Red Star Belgrade away.

Apparently, at the Belgrade airport, there is a counter for issuing certificates of fixed price (vouchers) for taxi transport, and it is located in the international arrivals area.
The prices are fair, most of it under 50 euros. Check it out, hope it helps you get around.
Basically, you tell them the address of your hotel, and they issue you a voucher you can give to the taxi driver.
Is that just for airport transfers mate?
Provisionally booked ours via booking. com adding it to the hotel reservation for 30 quid.

A taxi to the center shouldn't be costing you any more than 2500 dinar, which is about twenty quid

Unless you're arriving late at night I wouldn't entertain getting a taxi. The bus takes a bit longer but it's so much cheaper.
Booked a bus trip for 3.50 Euros. Will arrive at around midday so no need for a taxi.

I'm thinking of going on the train, have no time restrictions and quite fancy a 4 or 5 day jaunt. Am currently on a site called Seat61, has anybody any other recommendations for journey planning? Seat61 seems very informative, provides all the links for booking with different rail companies etc.

As for a match ticket, I suppose I'll just have to take my chances like I did for Istanbul as I'm not in any membership schemes.
