REDCAFE / RAWK Posts of the day.

I had to laugh at kraftwerk stating United were having their worst season in memory or such like and we were only 7 points in front of them. I guess the sad twat can't remember 2 years ago when they were utterly gash (7th wasnt it) under the ahem chosen one.
They change history to suit their arguments, utterly delusional the fucking lot of them.
Long may it continue although I fear some of them have taken their head out of their arse finally alas only in time to see the horse has bolted.
I hope we fucking smash them for years to come the arrogant nob wipes!

I think the mosty telling difference between RAWK and Ragcafe in all this is the reaction and I have to say that our neighbours seem more switched on than the rats down the lancs

Nited fans are genuinely worried...and with good reason...I think the penny is finally dropping over there

Liverpool fans are still in the complete denial stage...which I suppose they have been in since the 80s...They are like Nited a handful of years ago...still saying the Sheikh will leave soon and other such garbage...I can genuinely say i've never come across such delusional fans as Liverpool supporters...It's like mass brainwashing...they are all in a trance...one day they will wake up from that trance and realise they are shite...but can't see it happening anytime soon

Absolutely superb how United fans are adamant Pep will struggle because he's inheriting a poor team (compared to Bayern and Barca) and he's never proved he can manage a lesser team, yet Mourinho, the guy who has just taken a Championship winning team to the arse end of the league in the space of 6 months, is going to secure them a cup win and a top 4 finish this season. I love how balanced the argument is. They make out as if Pep is inheriting Stoke or West Brom. There's plenty of quality for him to work with. And 6 transfer windows plus a sizeable amount of money for him to get it right. On top of one of the best academy's in the world.

And also as dignified a man as Pellegrini is, and i really mean it - he is, we are still in the title race because none of the big hitters are having good seasons. We are not up there because of him. Some on here feel that we are still in it more in spite of him than because of him. I know i have at times felt like that. We've been fairly poor for about 12 months now and regardless of Pep becoming available, i feel we would have changed in the summer anyway.

Comparing both forums I think your bang on the money there, there are quite a few United fearing the worst, quite rightly, however I can't help thinking there are a few Blues on the wum on there,as for Liverpool, deary deary me,it's pathetic reading,I mean I would be pretty jealous if Pep had gone to another club, but I wouldn't be spouting bile on here about it really.

They are so still back in the day and like you say in some sort of trance with things its scary, the thing they seem to shout most about is Klopp will be there for a long time....really ? we shall see, keep these results coming and he be there 5 minutes.....beaten at Newcastle, smashed at Watford, late draw at home to West Brom and a boring 0-0 v West Ham in the cup on Saturday......would fill me with loads of confidence them kind of results

Why do you think none of the big-hitters are having good seasons ?
I think it's because nearly every other club in the Prem now has players that can hurt you.
I genuinely think the quality is higher, not lower.
Hence, no team can put a consistent run of wins together....

Spot on this. Many of the 'cafe' posts seem to be grounded in reality, with what appear to be some genuinely felt concerns on the future of their club and an acknowledgment that City are in a very strong place. That other red forum though.... Suffice to say, they wouldn't have allowed the debate to even start let alone continue.

Nail on the head there fella.

Nail on the head there fella.

The quality is MUCH higher now. Back when they were dominating, there were maybe 2 or 3 teams with world class players. Now every prem team has world class players. It's much harder to dominate now. Another thing they don't quite get. They just like to think they were THAT good back then. They weren't. They just had the resources to build a much better team.

And now they don't, or more accurately, they do, but can't. And they really aren't taking it well.

aaaahhhhhhh....

I've adopted the Premiership is stronger than ever argument, and I think it is at depth, because of the financial powers of mid-ranking Premiership clubs as compared to European clubs, but I am not sure if that really explains the relative weakness of the top 4.

Chelsea have their own reasons: Mourinho, Terry and Ivanovic ageing. Questionable players: Fabregas and Hazard

Utd: LVG problems with style of play

Arsenal: Always the same

City: Injuries. Kompany used to be an ever-present. Silva, Aguero, Nasri, and now KDB injuries plus the decline of Toure.

Have to recall that 12 months ago, Chelsea won the league easily. Has it changed that much in a few months?

Perhaps but I also think that the better teams are poorer than maybe three or four or five years ago. United aren't there as as title winning force, Liverpool have lost quality players and aren't the side they were two years ago. Chelsea have been poor. Arsenal have stayed roughly the same and we aren't as good as the we were a couple of years ago in my opinion.

Ah, the grand delusion thread...

http://www.redcafe.net/threads/why-...hould-be-erased-from-english-football.414186/

First reaction from a rag yesterday was that 'Pep will only stay three years and so you won't be dominant'. Such a desperate hope to cling on to. Bless.

I can also see a Pochettino fan club developing. Same issues as Mourinho. Control and confrontation. Some of them also seriously think that Giggs is going take them forward. Good job that liverpool is their 'special derby'. It will be from now on. Bye, bye, suckers.

Let's face it, City has the best squad and will have the best manager in the league(world), and they are very rich and can afford to buy any player they want. We simply stand no chance for the foreseeable future.

City could easily come to dominate English football. Yes, Pep will leave in three years. By that time though the City squad will be better, and provided City get another top manager to succeed Pep there's no reason why they will stop winning. When Barcelona, Bayern or PSG replace their manager it doesn't affect the results. Why would a managerial change massively affect petrol rich City

I'm loving this kind of chat,it's like the takeover all over again

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah fucking love it
