Reds @ COMS on Match Days

Footy is footy but going to Old Trafford and actually paying for a ticket to watch a rival team. No thanks.... What the fuck am I reading here... Haha. I hate all this obsessed rag talk on here, but going to the swamp mate is on another level.

As a kid when I lived in Burnage my best mate was a rag he came to Maine Road a fair few times I went to the swamp as well to the point where his mates at the ground thought I was one of them. Then we went to the reserve derby at the swamp think we won 4-3 when we where 3-1 down Justin Fashanu scored at least one remember going mental along with a fair few City fans in the old main stand needless to say said friends where not happy (thankfully my uncle took us so the big brave rags backed off) but we decided it wasn't a good idea for me to go there again.

I never mentioned going to their Shithole, no that would be wrong. If they want to watch us i'm all for it.

I remember a non-Derby day visit to the Swamp a few years back. Stood on the world famous Stretford End, singing along with the boys.

Got to be honest it was a fantastic experience - loved every second of it.

Especially when we came back from 0-2 down to win 3-2! :-)

Other than that I'm with Longsight on this one!

I'd go and watch United, so long as it was free and i didn't have to mix in with all the twats on the concourses.

Been a couple of times on corporate things. I'm eating their food, drinking their beer, pissing on their toilet floors, chuckling when they concede goals, not giving them a penny. Fuck 'em.

I did go once with a mate to watch the scum in the cup against Rochdale midweek (Thursday night i think) even though he was a red i caused enough commotion to nearly get nicked on the way in and to get chased out near the end by about 20 of their lads, haha happy days.

I should add that I was with around 13,000 other Blues that night - and the only rags around were those skulking in the alleys!

I don't have a problem with it. As someone has already pointed out, I also grew up in an age when you went to see both City and United. It's a game of football, after all, and I have stood as a neutral at dozens of grounds over the years.

When I'm away on holiday, I give my seasoncard to a good pal of mine who is a united season ticket holder, and he enjoys going to watch City. As he says himself, it's a game of football at a fan friendly stadium with lots of room.

And he also can't believe the number of young kids he sees at our place as well.

It's not hatred all the way.

Jesus Christ. Have I fallen asleep and woke up on Red Greasy Spoon? It's not the 50s anymore, when we boosted their biggest ever crowd at Maine Road. We live in the now, and I an made to feel like an unreasonable nob for having puritan blue principles,
