The red card could have been yellow but no real argument it was 50:50. The rest of Taylor’s performance was appalling, reminiscent of his performance when we played Chelsea in 2016/17. So many snide fouls by Forest missed. Akanji booked for a non foul. He was really really poor.

Our players should have spotted we were getting nothing from him and calmed down instead they got into stupid rows.

As said already, I think Taylor reffed the game badly because he’s a very poor referee who compounds that by being completely inconsistent.

That this would even be up for debate is quite concerning for the state of mind of many posters.

You’ve literally posted above that Rodri disgracing himself was ‘partly caused by Taylor’s reffing’…..

As for this game, Taylor has reffed it how he refs every game - haphazardly and inconsistently, because he’s not a very good ref and that he is rated amongst the UK’s best merely highlights how desperately low the standard is.

The idea that he is bent though is just sad. He’s not bent, he’s just shit.
