Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

I suspect after the first treatment he was given the OK, but he became unsteady on his feet, then went down on his knee's and was sick, that's when they came on the second time.

Initially (and I thought the same as you) they seemed to be treating him for a neck injury, so perhaps didn't check for concussion.

I've no idea what caused it either, but Ake was in a bit of shoving and pushing with a couple of everton players while he was treated, which the referee had to intervene in briefly.
Just to be clear. I have no true idea what the injury was in the first place. It was not spoken about by the pundits...

A lot of people not connected with City or Liverpool thought Mane should've stayed on when he kicked Ederson?Exactly who?One of the most obvious red cards I have ever seen.Is that really one of the best examples you can give of City getting a 50/50 call agains Liverpool? If it is no wonder people are paranoid non of the marginals go our way
I remember the Media outrage at the Red card “was their enough contact” and “it wasn’t deliberate as he's not that type of player” as Ederson was being airlifted to hospital to have his head re-attached

It only went on for 2 years…..

It’s now the Rodri handball (offside) that they go on about.

It was a ridiculous call from Neville and co who only had eyes for United as they were in shouting distance of City at the time.

That was the point, if there was any doubt whatsoever, where Sky confirmed there allegiances to United over the integrity of the game.

Their latest one which no doubt be used for the next 2 decades is Rodri's penalty at the swamp this season.
Neville still brings it up if their is a soft penalty at any game he's covering.
So do the rags in work every time I slag Bruno rat off for diving.
They compare his dive a Wigan in the cup to Rodri getting pulled down in the box by 'the quiniderm man' as the same action.
Just pure bullshit

After they'd had a few minutes "think" Tyler and Ratty came up with a gem. As he was outside the box, he should expect to be kicked like any outfield player.

Our first penalty there in over 30 years & they say it’s soft….

Tbh compared to the ones we haven’t got I agree.

The explanation was that it was a dreadful decision. Not some wild anti-City conspiracy. You really think that every official involved was involved in some secret meeting where they were all told: “If there’s any doubt about anything then give it to United because, er, we all hate City don’t we?”.
Of course I don't believe that, and I don't think many on here believe it either. To say there's a conspiracy is an extreme position to take. To say every referee is honest in every single decision is the opposite extreme. The truth lies somewhere in the middle.

The United goal from the Rashford offside was explained away as a mistake, and Webb said we wouldn't expect to see that decision given ever again. But that just doesn't cut it. Attwell, Cann and Oliver were all involved in that decision - three of our most experienced officials. It defies belief that they could have all thought that was a correct decision. And if it was all above board, they have the means to prove it by releasing the audio. Or even let some impartial adjudicator listen to the audio to show it was not a stitch up.
