I don’t agree. Compared to his performances before and the average performances by other PL refs, Oliver had a decent game. He certainly made no more mistakes than any of the players on the pitch.I was fuming watching that twat ref today.
Just another example of a fef influencing the game by not giving fouls & bookings. Some of the ‘tackles’ he let go today were truly awful. It was a disgraceful performance.
And yes, there were some strong challenges. So what. Let the play flow where it’s possible. Players sometimes need to toughen up a bit. I’m happy no City player is a crybaby or falls over with the tiniest of touches.
I honestly thought Oliver was ok yesterday. Maybe it’s because we didn’t play a team in red.
