Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Unfortunately it seems that the tinfoil helmet isn’t quite stopping the reception getting through…

Only in these weird conspiracy threads could being 2-0 up, cruising and with tricky games coming up and getting yourself sent off be anything else but a personal loss of mind and professionalism.
There was 2 specific and identical shoulder to shoulder challenges, one that went their way and was fine and one that went our way and was immediately whistled a foul. Its that kind of subtle decision making throughout that shows what a **** he is.

I don't usually mind Taylor reffing us but that was probably one of his worst performances. Totally different levels of what constituted a foul depending on which team was on the receiving end. That hack on Grealish towards the end and didn't even get a free-kick.
It's a fine skill making a bent performance look like incompetence.

At one point Jack was kicked three times in a row and pulled back, lost the ball on the right wing as a result, and Taylor waived play on so Forest could break down toward our goal.

That was one of many examples of him ignoring fouls on City players, and that’s not even including the two clear fouls on Rodri before our Spaniard lost his head and got himself sent off. He very rarely ignored anything by a City player on a Forest player; in fact, he was quite strict with our players, including the yellow against Akanji which Pep himself thought was farcical.

Taylor was absolutely working throughout the match to keep Forest in it and put us off our game—I posted that well before the Rodri incident.

That was up there with his performance in the Chelsea home game.

If anyone has any doubts about Alty after that performance then maybe you should try reffing....the P.L will be waiting with open arms
Scandalous and as Forest themselves did we should make an official complaint

I wouldn’t bother, mate. He is clearly a wum.

It was stupid from Rodri, so can’t really complain about the red card. Taylor’s officiating was pretty bad throughout though. The standard of refereeing in the league is shocking.
I think you are being quite generous by implying his performance was down to ineptitude, Ric.

Continual, unaddressed ineptitude eventually becomes corruption, even if his poor performances aren’t intentional (though, I think most of them are intentional).

But I appreciate your position and the need to remain diplomatic. ;-)

Antony Taylor I hate the rag twat with a passion, but he's one of pgmol best agents in trying to fcuk us over, followed by Atwell and their commander in chief Howard bastard Web. I do worry somewhat with the injuries and now the suspensions we've got for the next 3 games all of which are away from home......especially the Gooners game.

Just the shear number of incidents he has been involved in with city down the years before today, e.g the Ederson pen at Arsenal, the infamous Chelsea game and Fernadinho. I also agree that as well as applying the rules differently for both teams his favourite tactics are ignore a foul producing a breakaway for the team he is helping and constantly disrupt for the team in blue. Still leading anti city ref for me despite efforts of Attwell and some of the new kids on the block.

Its kind of annoying how again Pep has said nothing about his performance in the post game interview. Its why hen openly cheats v us as we just accept it. Could have easily said without a threat of a ban on we get strange decisions in all games with him like today, Arsenal last season and how so many fouls are ignored by him
