Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Was fearing the worse when i saw we had Madley yet again esp after Chelsea at home but was surprised by him today, didn't fall for the Rags diving (you know Oliver/Attwell/Taylor etc would have given them a free kick for that Rashford dive).
Only gripe was the time added on, remember his 4 minutes only v Chelsea. 1st half i though 3 added on was too low considering they were time wasting from every set piece and no idea where 8 came from at the end either.
Expecting the usual v Dippers though, reckon Taylor or Oliver
I feel it's going to be Attwell....

No issues at all, and it was great to see fish fingers still having his big nosed tantrum when the camera panned onto him after Phil’s first.

Dick head.

Was expecting the worse.

Attwell had opportunities to punish us in VAR and played it surprisingly straight.

Maybe he was feeling guilty about the Liverpool farce yesterday.

Madeley treated it like a derby and let a lot more go than say Alti. Who'd have had his card out every 5 minutes.

There was one moment in the second half where Foden got fouled. You could see he acknowledged it and played advantage. Yet when the move broke down seconds later he gave the scum a free kick instead. Also not booking the rapist for taking Phil out at the end.

I wanted the game to carry on for another 20 mins the rags had well and truly gone we would of scored many more
It had that feeling too. It was as if the 8 minutes injury time fired us up. After the third we had more fuel in the tank and played it safe to see the game out. Another 5/6 minutes we may have scored another 2 or three.

Did anyone see the rags coach standing in the technical area for two or three minutes shouting at a defender / keeper touching his head as if to say go down with a head injury at the next possible moment. And as if by magic Onana stayed down with apparent ’leg injury’ from which he remarkably recovered once the touchline team talk had been given. Cheating c***s.

Arsenal started it last year with Ramsdale and Arteta.
Cunts the lot of 'em - and they'll win nowt.

No issues with all of them. Even with the amount of injury time they added as it has been mentioned in this thread utd were blatantly timewasting.

Can't fault the ref for the 8 minutes. He added time on because of the rag time wasting.
He should have booked Onana for time wasting but overall no complaints.
Then why on earth didn't he put more than the 3 minutes on in the 1st half?

Agreed, he was fine. We can't complain about the amount of time wasting and then complain about the time added on ....

One thing, though. That's two games in a row we have had "dubious" referees referee us fairly for the most part. What's going on? Club had a word? Or the PL decided the race is close enough. In any case, it just shows they can referee fairly, so incompetence it isn't.

I thought it was a pen in the 3rd minute, very similar to the pen they got when Jesus ran back & everyone described it as clumsy. He doesn’t get near the ball so it’s a pen.

Casemeiro definitely gets a touch which VAR oversees, it would have been given during the Pisscans reign at the shithole, his 13 title successes were littered with them with no VAR to intervene.

They don't need every game just the dipper one to screw us over.
