Ref Watch

I am always disappointed when City lose, but I can accept that we can't possibly win all games. When Leeds beat us recently, when they were down to ten men, and totally against the run of play, you just have to accept that they rode their luck, and grabbed a late winner. When United beat us, it was hard to take, but we played poorly that day.

But sometimes, the defeat is down to other factors, and yesterday's was definitely an undeserved defeat.

Remember when Palace drew with us a few years ago to end our unbeaten run? There were a few very suspicious decisions on that day. They had a late penalty to win, but missed it. As I recall, they should have had a player sent off too.

Moss was the referee that day. He has links with Hodgson's agent, Colquhoun, who is also linked to gambling syndicates. I'm convinced Moss is one of the go to guys they turn to when they need a certain result. He is physically unfit - I'd be surprised if he legitimately passes the referee fitness tests. Mason is another unfit and incompetent referee.

And what happens when they retire? The untouchable Riley gives them a cushy job as VAR expert, so they can continue helping to deliver unexpected results at the behest of their hidden paymasters.

Always had a degree of sympathy and understanding for refs because they see it in real time and speed , but when you have useless bastards watching replays from all angles and still getting it wrong then it’s either total incompetence or corruption

I’ve just seen the red card from last night for the first time, welbeck literally threw himself over cancelo’s bloody shoulder !!

As for the ‘foul’ by stones that’s almost as bad.

What worries me though is that the potentially career ending studs high tackle on Mr Whippy is disgraceful to say the least - how that is just a yellow I don’t know:

Some of these decisions made against city are given very quickly and never seem to be scrutinised as much as others including off side decisions, the non pen on jesus, I've still not seen a close up and if the defender gets a slight touch on the ball, the ball was still in play but jesus cannot get to it as he was taken out, as for cavani's goal they are just guessing.
The offside for Brighton's 3rd seemed to deserve closer attention from VAR, they've had the grid-lines out for less tight decisions. The Jesus one was a pen, defender's tackle was over the top of the ball and as you say even if he got a slight touch he still wipes out the attacker with the follow through and we've seen red cards issued recently for doing just that.

Tony Bloom who owns Brighton also owns Sportslizard. Uk's biggest sports betting syndicate. I wonder what the odds were for Brighton to win when they were 2 down

It genuinely worries me that Mason has been given a VAR job, you only have to look at that tramp Peter Walton to see they don't lose whatever grudge they have, the club should be all over Masons appointment, the fat, cheating Phil Mitchell wannabe.

The breathtaking level of disregard by commentators like Townsend for what is there for all to see is bonkers. The Jesus incident was a reckless tackle where the ball may have brushed the underside of the defenders foot on his way to take out Jesus. I cannot conceive any situation where they would not be up screaming penalty if it was one of their paymasters.

Ah, but these LotG only apply when we have a knowledgeable ref with the bottle to call what the Laws demand of him (Are there any?). Last night we had the GhostGoalWhistlingWanker. I'm sure that Attwell would walk down his local high street and anyone who stumbles would have the satisfaction of the nearest shopper being carded!
Unless they are wearing any kind of City colours.
