I thought the BT commentator was pretty good tonight. Not heard of him before and it didn’t let being hampered by that clueless lune Keown affect him
Actually, I didn't think he was, several times, in common with so many other commentators, he started waffling on about some past game or player while ignoring some fairly promising on field activity. I also thought I detected an occasional tone in Keown voice when hearing some inane comment..

Nope, he was good. Very complimentary, no snidey remarks. A couple of times he was speaking whilst we then quickly countered but you can’t predict in seconds a goal scoring opportunity was coming. Refreshing he was, would like to have him more

All things relative.. he was better than the usual suspects who spout their biased drivel

My personal favourites from last night were stopping Ederson from quickly playing on with a throwout counter attack by blowing for an unecessary offside and Foden being nailed off the ball in their box as a cross came in, booking Laporte for a none touch challenge whilst allowing their players to lunge in unpunished several times one of which on Cole Palmer should have been a second yellow. The offender was then quickly withdrawn. (James Milner style)

The foul on Palmer was a shocker as was the high lunge on Foden which should have been a penalty. Laporte wasn't even in the same postcode.
