Straight red all dayYep, if that wasn’t a dangerous challenge which was meant to inflict serious harm on an opponent I really don’t know what is

Exactly what I said at the time, it was that dramatic it could only be a pen or a card, there was also no announcement that anything went to VAR on the big screens, which was totally different to the disallowed Mahrez goal, which was clearly offside, and was clearly displayedIn which case why was he not booked ?
RU is just posh blokes having a fight, shit to watch
Some of the World Cup refs were excellent, far better bent unfit prem refs who don’t know offside rules.I’ve always thought that the Prem league should have refs and VAR officials from Europe and ours should go over there.
Probably under instruction to keep the game 'competitive'. Had roles been reversed I think he'd have sent Gundo off.I don’t mean why it wasn’t looked at, I meant why didn’t David Coonte give a red in the first place
Almost certainly. It’s clear that the PL would prefer an easy arsenal title win rather than a competitive title race with us in it, which is weirdProbably under instruction to keep the game 'competitive'. Had roles been reversed I think he'd have sent Gundo off.
Bloody hell we already have Ukraine & Russia at war, you don’t want other countries starting one do you?I’ve always thought that the Prem league should have refs and VAR officials from Europe and ours should go over there.
Worst decision of the weekend was at Klanfield. Within the first 3 or 4 minutes Robertson wiped out a Chelsea player in the first 3 or 4 minutes with an ill timed challenge that appeared to be premeditated. However, the referee seemed to give him leeway as it was so early in the game. Fast forward a few hours and Palace defender Guehi committed a similar tackle albeit not as nasty and was given a yellow card after 3 minutes.
The inconsistency of how different teams are referred stinks.
