Reffed it brilliantly; no complaints
Really didn’t think he got much wrong. Anyway, not arguing, for me it was well reffedIf you was a Liverpool fan I agree.
You are Anthony Taylor and I claim my £1000 (due to inflation).Really didn’t think he got much wrong. Anyway, not arguing, for me it was well reffed
I’ll give you exactly one guess as to which was the reason (and why the PL has implemented VAR the way they have). With other words, a completely valid goal ruled out because Tierney either doesnt know how computers work, or was trying to find a frame were Sterling was offside even when he wasnt (or both).
smoke and mirrorsThe ref had a decent game. Still managed to misjudge what was clearly a red card. No interference from VAR. They are more than happy to try and get a goal disallowed for marginally off side with no-one protesting and the linesman understandably not raising his flag. Great for amusing fans. NOT.
Best League in the world. Worst refs and VARs in the world.
The first half was better reffed than the second half but the first half wasn't exactly as it is written down in the LotG. How many times are clear bookings ignored by a ref 'cos he know the jackass will continue to do the rough-house and should be up for a second booking in the second half. Bernie got a yellow for a trip and then how many trips were ignored by Taylor in the second half. I was surprised he allowed play to go on for what the Liverpool Echo will claim as a record - the longest time between a foul and a yellow card being shown. But of the two - shitty reffing and shitty finishing - it was the latter that came out on top! Can’t complain with how it was reffed.
Yeah 1-0 to Everton.Yet another poor game from a piss poor referee.
Did Altrincham (rags) lose yesterday?
Always easier to comment with the luxury of TV / replay etc but, in real time, as I saw it, I didn’t see anything to be upset about . The Dipper who was booked late on should have been booked in the first half!Always easier to comment with the luxury of TV / replay etc but, in real time, as I saw it, I didn’t see anything to be upset about . Agree on the finishing!
