Ref Watch

Not to mention Hojberg pretending to have a head injury to break up a City attack.
He looked around and when he saw City had the ball he went down clutching his head wouldn’t have do so if they had the ball, an out an out cheat can’t blame refs for this if a player simulates a head injury
The only way to stop it is any player having treatment or the game is stop for them then has to leave the field of play for 5 mins I know it would be harsh for players genuinely injured but if introduced it would stop the faking also include the fake cramp

Should have send royal off for accumulation of fouls on jack. Weak officiating screws us over week in and week out.

Can't even mention the disgraceful five minutes added. There was maybe two minutes of ball in play from the 84th minute to the 91st. Where the fuck are they getting these numbers?
Any semblance of fairness has gone, sky / prem now want as much drama as they can get , pigmol / var are just feeding into it

No point having 'neutral' refs if they are not bring neutral, might as well go back to Sunday league where the home pub supplies the ref / linesmen

The worst referee in this league by far. Utterly clueless.

The two instances in the first half where he blew for free kicks to spurs in off the ball situations and miles away from play got me. If that was applied throughout we’d have free kicks left right n centre. Joke of a referee.

I never thought I’d say this but Taylor is the best ref there is at the moment

Any player simulating a head injury to stop the game should be sin binned for 10 minutes....VAR could have easily determined that the ball hit Hoijberg shoulder not his head

We were poor but the ref was awful for both sides but mainly against us. Three ways to stop all the fake injury nonsense. 1. Players down with pretend cramp, play doesn't get stopped until ball out of play. Physio comes on and player must go off for a minimum of five minutes 2. Players down with fake head injury stay of the pitch for a minimum of five minutes regardless of whether it is real or not. 3. Independent time keeper is used. If 15 minutes goes up at the end of games then timewasting is useless other than letting players have a rest

That’s crept in on the game this season, quite a lot I’ve noticed. I understand fully about being mindful of concussion but the amount of players that go down claiming head trauma when attacking teams are putting pressure on goal is amazing. If I wasn’t cynical I would be thinking it’s a snide way of relieving pessure;)

Not just this tosser but the amount of times spurs kicked the ball away sometimes 2 or 3 players in the same incident, scored offside goals, Harry FC kicking it into the crowd when well over the touchline etc. without any action being taken.

Free kicks from the wrong positions, throw-ins 'walked'15 yards forward by the player.

They can't even get the basics right.

Maybe am being paranoid.
But I suspect we won't have any dodgy controversial decisions go against us tomorrow. With the Premier league attacking us They will instruct pigmol to ease off. Only time will tell.
No chance. The volume of dodgy decisions against us will go thru the roof now….

Brentford's disallowed goal today because an Arsenal player slipped is just the start….

Today has to go down as a black day for PGMOL. So many bad decisions it's unbelievable. That Brighton disallowed goal for offside was just incredible. How can something like that actually happen? And to make it worse it's the head of VAR, Neil Swarbrick, that made the decision. Add to that the West Ham handball, the two offside players for Brentford's equaliser. It really is a scandalous level of officiating for the most prestigious league (puts on Jeremy Clarkson accent) in the world.

If I was suspicious todays atrocious refereeing is PGMOLs defence to rumours we have a dossier on their performance. Their response is “no, we really are just wank.”

Delighted and happy Brentford got their goal as good goal was not given. Swings…
