Bearing in mind you have had at least 3 apologies re Var, do Brighton fans accept they were mistakes or do they think its corruption ? Imo, Saturday showed they do not want you upsetting the cartel (spurs) and you were shafted.

Yes mate Brighton fan. Seen many VAR calls go our way, with my Brihhton glasses on yes correct decision, however if i was to take those glasses off and some of them given against us i would be saying wrong call, same with the ones against us. I accept mistakes can be made, however its the Inconsistences that make it worse. The laws of the game are how you Interpretate them.

Mitoma goal some say hand ball i say no, again where do you say what part of the arm is not handball? Welbeck v Rags, pushed off the ball first game of season no pen, to me and nany ithers penalty. Othef games seen same happen pen given straight away no VAR check. We won the game so result not changed.
I do feel that top 6 sides do get a bit more in there favour when playing those outside top 6 but that is jyst my opinion.

Now Saturday v Spuds, i understand Brighton want Is clarification on 5 other instances in the game. 1 or 2 mistakes a game ok, but more than that come on something not right.

I had a worry about the Spuds game, we were favourites to win by some bookmakers, not sure about that awsy to team in 4th place. Looking through website to try to find out how we were favourites and read about Asian betting markets and what you can bet on. One thing that i saw was the fime a game kicks off.
So v Spuds the toss up is made, both teams waiting to kick off, Attwell then walks to the side to have his comms check, this would have been checked and working during the toss up. The game started at 4min past 3.

Take that into account and the mistakes made is there a possibility of match fixing? I dont know.

Webb has had to Apologise 3 times niw this season for mistakes against us. Hopefully we might get a Trophy for that.

Exactly. The Mitoma 'goal' was probably correctly disallowed as the current interpretation (at least the one this week) appears to now class anything below the armpit as handball. But the Welbeck one wasn't. as it hit the hip of his teammate and the two penalties not given appeared to be blatant.

How hard can it be for VAR & refereeing to be be run by two completely different entities, with every decision referred to VAR explained in a report, say an hour after the game, and the same for VAR alerting the ref. It should force accountability but more likely collusion

These refs are all mates. Would you criticise a mate outside your cicle of friends when everyone else is having a go at them? That's the problem with VAR, they don't want to keep dropping a mate in it.

It was disallowed because the linesman put his flag up meaning it would have to be a 'clear and obvious' mistake for VAR to overturn it.

How the fuck did the linesman see definite handball from there?

I honestly believe that someone told him to put his flag up for handball which then gave the VAR the option to give or overturn the goal. The more I watch the modern game the more I'm of the opinion that the game is being controlled by people who aren't on the field of play.
