Why VAR didn’t ask Gillet to review it is what I don’t understand because clearly Danso handles the ball
Danso’s was never going to be a penalty.

He was making weak decisions all nightI agree. I don’t think the ref was bent, I just think he was well out of his depth tonight.
It did take too long. Why bother checking for 5 mins on VAR if the only outcome could ever have been no goal???
Also, surely as part of their review they should have called out that the defender handled the ball?
There was a clear handball from one of the spurs defenders (the one who wasn’t Gray) when our goal was disallowed.
This was seemingly before the Haaland handball could have (but clearly didn’t) happen.
How in that situation were we not awarded a penalty?
MCFC1993 said that Gillet didn't rule it out straight away, it took a minute. I didn't see any sign of the goal being ruled out by Gillett.A minute ? WTF !!
It was two of them. Matterface and hoddle both didn't hear no goal. VAR didn't check fir the obvious penalty from the first player that moved his elbow towards the ball. They didn't check this as the were confirm the goal I suspect. We know for definite that they werent checking any penalty decisions as the commentators wiuld have definitely pucked this up. It's the only explanation that makes any sense.I think Matterface just got caught up in the celebrations, all the City players around the ref knew it was no goal and the ref would have told VAR, I've ruled it out, should it be overturned.
The bigger issue is the current handball rule. Been saying it was 3 or 4 years now.

Like I said. I didn't see any sign, thats why I asked the question. It didn’t take a minute, it was less than five seconds.
They will come up with some bullshit excuse ( if we are lucky) guess it will be overlooked because it does not suit them ( premier league and tv companies)There was a clear handball from one of the spurs defenders (the one who wasn’t Gray) when our goal was disallowed.

Yes it was weird that we didn't even see a replay of the alleged Doku offside. Why was the ref not advised to check the monitor?
Why did the lino flag for a "close" offside Doku without a single replay?
Because he was confirming a goal and not looking at penalties. It think it's a massive fuck up that will brushed under the carpetHow did the ref see that handball, but miss their 2 handballs in the same incident
Exactly !! Corrupt as fuck !!Why was the ref not advised to check the monitor?
