Sky were adamant it was. But I can’t see how it was a penalty.

Keeper has come out made a genuine attempt to win the ball and the guy has jumped dragged his foot, hit Ortega and gone down.
Irregardless has not initiated contact.

I don’t get it I’m looking through blue tinted glasses or if it’s a soft as fuck pen.

I personally thought Kyle was fouled in the build up and USA commentary team thought Sutcliffe was offside.

Stop playing fucking advantage when the ball has gone backwards. Foden got fouled twice in 20 seconds and he played on because we had the ball back with our centre halves. 15 seconds later, THEY had a corner. Like the one at Newcastle In my view not a pen as described above but they always seem to give them the GK can’t win as they go for the ball, unless they get there first and get the ball. No consideration is given as to whether the attacker has a goal scoring chance impeded by the GK actions and if the attacker initiates the contact Probably better for them not to go to ground just make themselves as big as possible
