I know that was the broader point you meant Dave - was just having a laugh :)

It was truly bizarre how he changed his mind halfway through.
Even the missus was perplexed (more than usual) and asked why refs aren't pulled up on odd decisions.

Was weak and influenced by their players surrounding him. One of which pushed into him with his body to intimidate him. Which is at least a bookable offence in its own

He was influenced by a voice in his ear and nothing else.

Utter disgrace what happened last night im afraid and the clearest evidence to date that we are being cheated by certain refs and officials.

Haven't seen a replay of the tackle, can't bring myself too yet, however there was a similar tackle, not on KDB but on Sergio, and that wasn't even deemed worthy of a yellow card let alone a straight red. It's the inconsistency, from the same referee in the same game, that gets people annoyed.

I am still baffled now why he would pull out a yellow Write delphs name but then change his mind to produce a red instead obvious that wigan players and a whisper in his ear changed that but can you imagine the outcry if that happened for us and not against, yet will we get an explanation from the FA why he did what he did will we fuck.

This one:

Yeah, but it’s not like it was high and two footed, though, is it?!

And, don’t forget, it was only the 4th minute, so you can’t get a red card out in the 4th minute!

Let’s just chalk it up to Number 10 for the horror reel on us, shall we?!

Delph was a red IF you are going to call him out of control, reckless or high. I think you can probably get him on at least two of the three. That said, the above picture speaks for itself. It’s a career-ender, let alone a season-ender or World Cup-misser, if the foot is planted...but it wasn’t, so NO CARD AT ALL, and let’s just call it even, shall we?!

UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!

Its the inconsistency that is pissing me off so much this season. Within matches, and across the season, the rules aren't applied consistently at all. And because of the retarded 'can't fix it if a ref saw it' hatchet job of FIFA/FA, even when its clear as day what the correct decision should have been something else, we get absolutely no consistency at all.

Yeah. I get that

yeah. I get that.
There were also a couple of Wigan yellows that seemed very marginal to me.
He didn’t have a good night overall.
