Referees/Officials

Its the rooney one thats worse. If One of ours had done that then it be on 24/7 from all angles inc google earth and in slow motion and today/tomorrow would be the official charge. But as Utd its glossed over and not showen on a loop so another they have got away with

Unless they tell him to change his report.

They do have previous!
He gave the free kick so even as bent as PGMOL are, they wouldn't get away with that. The Clattenburg/Adebayor incident, where he is alleged to have changed his report so they could charge Ade with the offence he's already been booked for, was a slightly different scenario.

Interesting that both Graham Poll & Keith Hackett were praising Oliver's "near perfect" display in the media today. The man-handling of Henderson and failure to give a penalty/card, failure to issue a card of any sort to Rooney for his attempted leg-break and allowing yet another offside goal to stand were conveniently overlooked. Or maybe that's what they meant by "near perfect" and his mistake was giving Liverpool a penalty.

Assuming the 'manhandling of henderson' was Pogba throwing Henderson to the floor, i think a penalty would have been a little dubious as it was in the Liverpool area.
Rooney should have been booked for the Milner challenge.

The linesman who took it upon himself to stand several yards away from his correct position should be fired/demoted/scourged and beheaded.

Just watching escape to victory and I'm almost certain it's Anthony Taylor refereeing the games, some shocking decisions going on

And it's definitely showsec doing the security

17 fouls from Everton 7 from us.
Yet 2 bookings each?
Seems balanced.

The repetitive fouling without consequence really does influence the game.
Holgate & Funis Mori, Barry & Davies could foul at will.
That gives you a freedom to defend much more vigorously. Holgate, Mori & Davies could have all been booked early. Their whole attitude would have been different. Their freedom to tackle limited.

How Holgate escaped a yellow for his drag back and trip as Aguero ran into the box lord only knows. I'm surprised Silva didn't suffer whiplash after Mori jumped right through him.

We do appear to be losing out on the really big calls. But I think the repetitive fouling without punishment is costing us more.
Clattenburg had to told by Sergio that Funes Mori had committed a succession of fouls. He paused to think about it, possibly getting instructions from elsewhere, before calling Funes Mori over to tell him to cut it out. The mug even counted out on his fingers three transgressions just in case there was a language problem. So there you have it, no yellows but the fouls had been noted. To compound his non-action he booked David for his first foul on Davies. The same Davies that had been hacking at him throughout the match. David's face told the tale,he just laughed at the unequal rules that we play under.
