No retrospective action for Costa as Mike Dean claims he saw the incident and dealt with it at the time. The following is from the BBC site

"Chelsea's Diego Costa will not face retrospective Football Association action after appearing to kick out at Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany during Wednesday's 2-1 win by the Blues.

Referee Mike Dean saw the second-half incident and dealt with it at the time, meaning there will not be any retrospective FA action. "

Quite right as well and it tops off a man of the match performance from Mike for Chelsea last night.

All this seen it so can't re ref it crap needs cutting out.. it's a massive get out for shit house refs who don't want to be responsible.

My brother asked me if i was going to watch it. My response was whats the point. Why get worked up over blatant cheating by officials and waste my time. So i have just stopped watching now and my interest in the sport is st an all time low. If the club are happy to get screwed over every week and let it continue then why bother watching a sport thats obviously corrupt. After reading the match reports and threads seems like it panned out exactly like i thought it would.

Dean was a disgrace,he let them batter dave,we got more cards even though they were much more dirty than we were, the assult on vinny could have put him out for another year, not even retrospective action,i'm so pissed off with it all

When Pedro clattered Silva and the foul was given to Pedro, I'm sure I saw Silva laugh and say "I don't believe it!".
It's getting to be more and more blatant now, and I'm not surprised about ANY decision given against us or for the opposition. If even Phil Chuckle can see it, it must be bad.

So he saw it but didn't at the very least book Costa?

Goes to show you can do whatever the fuck you like to us these days.

Just once I wish the club would come out and say something

What would be the point? We have no sympathisers in the media and as such we would be ridiculed, probably make the situation worse if anything.

How much worse could it get? We already get shafted in the media and by the referees.

Fair enough but how about you answer my question, what would be the point? Do you honestly think the situation would improve if we went public with our complaints?

The Premier League/FArce et al are just waiting for Pep to blow his nut over the blatantly corrupt officiating of our games. The moment he mutters a single word against one of the match officials they will slap him with a huge fine and 5 game touchline ban.

Possibly not, but if it puts the spotlight on the referees for a bit, we might have an equal playing field for once. Nothing is going to change by keeping our mouths shut, that's for sure.

You're probably right. It would take someone else to speak up.

I said something similar last night. The day Neville has sympathy for City, something has gone badly wrong.

I also thought the players were laughing at Dean's decisions, which can't be good, following so soon on the Monreal/Aguero aftermath. Guardiola shut down the topic in his interview, but I think there will be something irate going to Riley.

I'd love to see the club (with Guardiola nowhere in sight) hold an itemised press conference of incidents this season - not just City, but the top few teams, and try forcing the hand of Riley/Scudamore to openness.

I don't think it would put the spotlight on them mate, like I alluded to previously you need some sympathisers in the press for that to happen.

Also, for all we know the club is acting on it out of the public eye, hasn't Pep had a meeting or meetings with Riley to discuss it?

Never going to happen. Even if the whiff of corruption reaches nostril stinging levels, the PGMOL will just continue to hide behind their cloak of "nothing to see here", and Gill and his mates will carry on with their plan to see a new name on the PL trophy every 6 years.

Mike Dean should be sacked for allowing that leg brake tackle by Costa, he didn't even speak to him guess he didn't see it, which seems too be the excuses every time they want to ban 1 of our players. It is time that it started to ban players from other clubs.
