Reform UK Party Limited Company

Farage keeps going on about being a wrecking ball in Parliament. He won't be. It doesn't work that way. Their chances of being called to ask a question will be very small. They will not all be attending debates in numbers day in and day out and if they get someone on a Parliamentary Committee they will be blocked from getting say a Committee discussing the water authorities to discuss immigration. The incomes declaration on the Member Interests website is 12 months retrospectively so as of Monday they have to declare all income over the last 12 months then keep updating it accurately for all your stay. So the idea that if Farage left it late to decide to run won't have some skellybones in the closet over the last 12 months is vanishingly small. If he tries grand standing on the steps of the HoC he will be hauled over the coals by the standards commission and the 5 constituencies they won will see very little of them and get little help.

As we saw from his stellar time as an MEP, the main aim will be to grift as much money as possible, while doing as little work as possible. He'll just use GB News as his platform, and the HoC as a cash cow.

I predict a lifespan like that of Galloway for some of them and a Bridgen like decline for the others
If Farage’s attendance is anything like his attendance was as an MEP he won’t be there to answer anything.

……and the people of Clacton as stepping stones.

Why's that, you think everybody who votes for reform is a racist?

No, I think it's a catchy saying but is always wrong. It suffers from what 99% of political discourse suffers from which is a vast oversimplification of The Other. It's like when people go off on foaming at the mouth rants about how all X are Y and actually the root of all evil in society.

Racism is a widespread societal issue with like most opinions works on a spectrum. Racists vote every Party, they cross every class divide, every gender, every race and age.

Moreover, people are complicated. They're not one thing, one trait, that overrides and supersedes every opinion on every topic. It's like when people use these terminologies to paint vast swathes of people - "socialists" or "leftists" or "fascists" or whatever. People do that because they believe they fully understand the goals and psychology and draw conclusions on these sometimes millions of people.

It's just a pointless thing to do because at that point you're not even talking about people but rather a mythical entity.

Racists are everywhere. It might make people feel better to think that they are contained to some sub group or party but that's not the reality as various Labour and Tory investigations in the last few years should tell you. In fact most people would probably be shocked at how much crossover there is in many European nations between fascists and environmentalists, two groups which common sense would tell you are on totally different political wings naturallybut they share some common goals. As I say, people are complicated and they're not one thing.

Excellent reply, I will reevaluate my thoughts.

It wouldn't but I think it extremely unlikely that he'll do the same thing. He'll be there for every opportunity to be seen and interviewed.

He could get away with being a tool as an MEP because it wasn't anywhere near as important to British people.
