Regrouping of singers within the stadium

Honest I wish you all the best, but how many "singers" are there, 1500 to 2000 I would estimate as its seems that "banter" is just as important to another 500.
From 1957 to 1970 I used to stand with City fans on away grounds behind the goal, the word would be passed around on the football special as to the end we would go to. So what happened in 1970, well I had met the, wife she started to come and I decided the swearing and drinking at the game had become old hat. Sorry but the same tale will apply to 20 or so every season to todays "singers". As the saying goes shit happens.
Not knocking the efforts of the 1894 group in any way and wish you well.



PS. Keep away from 204, we sit and drink our flask at half time in padded seats.

PPS. Doing this post has got me missing those football specials along with the banter and singing, going for a lie down now.

As said before I think you need to be targeting your flyers at corner furthest away from away fans,with the idea they would move across and form a wall down the new away fan strip

It might be shit, it might be pointless and shit to you, but its a revenue earner, so to the club its got a particular point, in that it earns money that supporters banners don't.

Its also got nothing to do with the reason behind this thread, which is about getting people who want to sing, into a couple of blocks that will become available next season.

why would that help though. we need to keep the singing sections we alread have. Then add 114 and 115 and it should make the atmosphere better.

It would help because that's the whole point, getting those who want to sing, who are in parts of the ground where you get looked at like your some kind of leper when you sing, to move to an area where everyone wants to sing, so target all areas of the ground.

Is this really so hard for some to understand ?

I do not know if this idea would be valid but instead of having the large flags on the pitch before the teams come out, each block on Level 1 has there own unique flag which the block votes for the design. I feel if each section had a flag then it would make it look intimidating for visiting teams, but that could be an appropriate time to stick Blue Moon on creating an amazing atmosphere. (Hopefully)

Personally if it was me, I think those flags are good, but they should put them all in the central 4 blocks of the north stand... In the stand, not at the front of it. I think the children would like that as well and would look good with the 1894 flags at the other end.
