Metal biker spoke of meditation and this bringing peace and harmony. There have been threads on Bluemoon discussing ,for example, the use of the drug spice. Do you believe that folk that use spice are less if more likely to know this harmony? If they did come to know this harmony, would they be less or more likely to use spice? Would this choice be likely to gave an effect on their behavior overall? Etc etc. So I’d agree that arguing about ‘whose God us better’ isn’t so great but I’d say that within this area there is potential for positive and practical change.
You spoke of meditation and asked if I ever had. I said I have done on occasion, not that it specifically brings me peace and harmony. That's it, you need to re-read my post on page 174 again because you appear to have misunderstood it.

Stop twisting things to suit your own narrative.

“Do I meditate? Sometimes, but meditation itself isn't religious, it's spiritual.

I observe the cultural aspects on a spiritual level as I find it brings me peace and harmony. “
Yes, it would appear that I have incorrectly used meditation and spiritual as interchangeable in this case. My apologies. Instead can I use the idea of ‘what may bring peace and harmony’ truly? Whether it be meditation, spirituality, atheism, art, music etc

You can continue to argue about meditation, spice or gardening in you underpants. My point remains, people are being murdered throughout the world in a religious dick waving contest.
I have no doubt that the main religions were set up by people with the right intentions. They have been manipulated over the centuries by liars and murderers to obtain wealth and power. The tragedy is it is the gullible that die whilst the corrupt continue to give the orders.

Not if it involves me and do not misquote me in future.

And as 2 or 3 posters argue with each other, people are still dying in Palestine, Burma, Central Africa, the Middle East.
All because someone's God is better than someone else's.
And that is really the point isn’t. The religious freedom people enjoy in the west is because of the strong secular laws that provide for harmony. If you have a weak secular government like in my country mali. The likes of Islam and Christianity will spread with war and killings.
