I think the argument is that religion is a thing, whether you believe god is or not.Mate I am not arguing with you about a thing that isn't a thing that would mean I am validating it :)
I would imagine that there are as many if not more agnostic theologians as there are believers or non believers for that matter.
I do find that early period of our history and how it transformed us from an oral tradition of storytelling to a written documentation fascinating in a way.
But to me it seems like a lot of time and effort goes into studying a time that basically transformed myth into dogma.
Bottom Line is the story is unbelievable to start with.
Miracles seemed to have been ten a penny. Saints in every town.
Live life treating others as you’d like to be treated yourself. It’s not rocket surgery.
