Bragging rights???? We can only have those if we start filling that trophy cabinet, remember that.

Sorry, but your wrong.

The derby means so much, I grew up playing football in school against United fans, and i would always be City and they would always be United.

It's a deep rooted thing for me, City v United, it's the game you grew up waiting for, the game you all spoke about in school, and although since I started watching in 1989 we was always the under dog, I always felt that it was more than just a game and we always had a chance.

Maybe it's just me, but I cannot agree with your post. City v United is something you grow up with, and will always be a awesome game.

Out of curiosity, where did you grow up? Where are you from?

What nonsense.

We've not won a fucking tap these last three decades but, believe me, when we beat the rags we DID have bragging rights!

It might have only been a victory, three points, but no other defeat fucked them off like a defeat by "lickle Cideh".

I think you're either very young and don't remember when beating the rags was everything... and that was in a period when we were winning trophies... or you don't know the culture of Manchester, and you think like one of the out-of-town rags who think Arsenal or Chelsea is a bigger game.

Playing our challengers for trophies and getting to cup finals will all be fantastic.
But even if we start to dominate this country in the next 10 years and United slip into mid table oblivion or worse, the derby will still be as special as any game. There's nothing like a derby. For me as we get better, the derby gets better!
