Remember it is just another game......

Every point in the scheme of things is just as important as the next - in that way the OP is right.

But there are other factors - the derby is always the most looked forward to game and when we are top i suggest it still will be.

This one is even more important in our climb as we are 3 point behind them - a defeat leaves us 6 points behind the Rags and i don't see them taking Chelsea all the way. We need to start showing that we can compete against the top teams (the scum are still one of them), and that means winning at HOME and against these red gits AWAY as well.

Let the change in power start tonight

Its a big game because its the derby but i honestly think given the choice that many people on here would rather win this game than win the league and thats just silly.

its a derby and I absoloutley hate the rags, so for me its the biggest game of the season and the one I most look forward to.

You chat shit...
Am i wrong?.

I have been fortunate enough to see City lift ever honour since 1968 and I can tell you that even that cold wet night in Vienna or the 69 fa cup were not as sweet as any occassion we beat the scum
especially sweet was the swamp 74

the only game that ever came close was the play off final for me

if the OP really dosn't get derbies well I feel sorry for us as a fellow blue !

these games are why I have been a blue all my life

I can't believe the hype on this forum about the match, it is just another game and the main thing is we pick up points. The derby used to mean everything to me as it was about the only time we could actually 'achieve' anything against our neighbours but now with the investment and the squad we have the Champions League and silverware to aim for, beating them means nothing.

There is no doubt it my mind that we have a squad that are comfortably capable of disposing of this United side and therefore we should feel confident as a club. We must stay organised as we did against Chelsea and we must concentrate for 98 minutes, if we do this I can see something happening similar to the Liverpool game at home.

Come on City just go out and play your football and we will win.

I bet you're a right boring bastard! :)

I aint from Manchester but have still had the butterflies for days!! Its the biggest game of our season and always willl be even when we are winning trophies etc. Nothing better than wiping the smile off them Rags' faces!

Of all weeks I'm working in London, parading my city an these plastic rags with cockney accents start with the 34 years rubbish to which I retort 37 years ofcourse none of them have a clue what I'm on about,

So nervous yet excited think our midfield can dominate an with the vision of silva and and the quality of tevez I fancy us for a 2 0
