Remember these T shirts?

Christ. Stolen from Ivor!

What was that denim brand that took off like crazy and they all came from one importer near Strangeways?

They were I think really really baggy jeans, and everyone wanted a pair.

still got my rosler tshirt....and hat!
and a tshirt from the isle of man tournament in 96 (i think) and a corner flag!

The picture appeared in Blue Print to flog the shirt. The four in the shot all Failsworth blues!
I will ask Bill Borrows if maybe a set amount could be re-printed with proceeds going to Colin's school
Navy blue t-shirts with that design would see me ordering 2!

Yeah i mentioned it 2 pages ago he was at the Venue
Used to love the venue. One light bulb in the whole place. descending down the stairs knowing a night of ace tunes from Leo. Never content with anything less than 12-15 Smiths’ tracks which he’d intermingle with Guns n roses and all the Madchrester stuff. Playing pool against Ian brown and Reni with our kid. Tiny dance floor and a little hatch serving chips. Getting mithered by the deaf punk for 30p. Then a snide taxi home

Wow yeah what ever happened to that punk? Always used to bump into him in Cloud 9 or outside Afflecks with his "20p please" sign.
Only went to The Venue the once.

Yes bought the Roslers grandad one, also after the 5-1 late 80s when I was living and working in Bude came up for the match and got the come on punk make my day.

Haha John the deaf punk got around didn’t he? Afflecks by day, The Venue by night

My mate Colin Lund produced all the T-shirts and ran the Soccer 2 shop on the corner of Claremont Road (Blue Moon chippy backed on to it)

He also held the licence for all the stalls down Sir Matt Busby Way at Old Trafford.

Made a lot of money.

Used to travel to away games with him and his young lad Darren, even went to Florida with them to see City in 1991, although the Alan Hudson tournament got cancelled.

Colin also brought out a line of City Shell suits which I wore to the FA Youth Cup Final at Watford's Vicarage Lane, must be late 80s?
Colin is my uncle, loved going in that shop on match days. I'd pick a couple of badges or something then he would ring it through the till, take a tenner off me and give me 2 fivers back.

Darren is 2 years older than me (he's just turned 40) so we were very close growing up, vividly remember him going to Florida with Colin. I've sent him this thread and he says hello from him and his old man.

Some great memories on here
