Shocked at this Lodi situation, it would be absolutely not risk to us if we took him on loan and gave him a go, I thought we also tried to get him months ago and fab “who knows everything” said there was no price that could get him? Especially not a loan and then about £25 million?

We've had some good opportunities this window to buy some very good players but we've ignored them all, weve got the smallest squad in the league, and these players are affordable I just don't get why we wont buy, a couple of players would make all the difference

Apparently it's because Pep likes a smaller squad where everyone gets more game time. The fact Sterling, Zinchenko & Jesus left stating similar game time sentiments, would suggest there's a truth to our small squad.

Pep would rather a smaller but happier squad, & risk struggling to cope with injuries, suspensions, fatigue & loss of form, than have unhappy players upsetting the dressing room.
