Replacements for Mario and Tevez

Is Bony any good?

Doesn't look quick or mobile enough, like a poor mans Lukaku.

Dutch league not difficult to score in.

We need someone from the list posted a page or so back.

- Gomez
- Reus

Would be my three for the money. Cavani is too expensive, no value in a £50m fee. Rather go for one of the above for £30m and if they get injured we can still try to spunk £20m on cover in the January window.

Gomez, would be a decent shout not a fan but his record speaks for itself. Soldado would be a great replacement but rumours that he has already agreed a transfer elsewhere. I think Remy could be a decent 3rd choice striker and would be cheap. To be honest a lot will depend if we play with 2 up top next year or just 1, there is no point paying 20mil for a striker to be a back up to Aguero, Tevez was played in a deeper role last year a position that Silva or Nasri could fill, think we will play with more width this year which could bring Sinclair back into the fold.

Most likely can see it being Jovetic due to his age and versatility, but I would be happy with any of them for a reasonable fee

Forget Gomez, he's off to Fiorentina as soon as they sell Jovetic.
Dortmund won't sell Lewandowski to Bayern, could be worth seeing if he'll come to us, David Villa would be a good option for a few years and I'd take Suarez in a heartbeat but I doubt the club wants someone like him here.

But the dream is Cavani, he's the only signing that'd make up for losing out on Isco and selling Carlos.

And suarez I think we can discount as I dont think he would come to us and you could probably say the same for Lukaku.

Torres is finished and lokos a shadow of his former self
Gomez and Lewandowski are too similar to dzeko
Ibra (Contrversial I know ) but I just dont like the way he plays
Benteke.......not the type of player I think Pele would go for
